Non-Prescription Lenses

Style & protection, no prescription needed. Clear, tinted, blue light blocking or anti-reflective, choose the lens that fits your life. Glazed in our UK lab from just £9.

What Are Non-Prescription Lenses?

Non-prescription lenses, sometimes called plano or zero-power lenses, contain no vision correction whatsoever. They sit inside standard glasses frames and are worn for a practical or cosmetic purpose: screen protection, UV defence, fashion, or simply to complete a look.

At Direct Sight, every non-prescription lens is cut and fitted in our own optical laboratory in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, the same facility and quality standards applied to every prescription pair we make. You get the same 7-point quality check, the same one-year scratch guarantee, and the same 30 day returns policy.

Your Non-Prescription Lens Options

Clear Lenses

A plain, optically neutral lens with no correction and no tint. Ideal for fashion frames, protective eyewear, or anyone who simply wants the look of glasses without any visual effect.

Blue Light Filter Lenses

Designed for screen-heavy days, these lenses reduce the amount of high-energy blue light reaching your eyes from phones, laptops, and monitors, no prescription required.

Tinted Lenses

Turn any frame into a pair of sunglasses. Our non-prescription tinted lenses include UV400 protection and are available in a range of standard and polarised options.

Anti-Reflective Lenses

An AR coating reduces surface glare and reflections, useful for driving, working under artificial light, or wearing glasses on video calls.
